Take a Walk on the Wild Side… on the Camino de Santiago Peter Schmidt Assistant Principal, Franklin High School, NHAWLT Board Member and former Spanish Teacher Come walk with me along the Camino de Santiago through Northern Portugal into Galica, Spain. Along the way we will learn, step by step, about the Camino, its history, its culture, and its draw for thousands around the world. Learn from a Camino enthusiast who has walked 200 miles of the Camino Portugues, 600 miles of the Camino Frances, and 250 miles of the Italian Via Francigena. During this adventure we will learn about Galician culture and how to bring this land of Spanish and Celtic connections into your classroom. Open to all languages and all walks of life.
